Description
A flat with a cadastral floor area of 93 m² on the fifth floor of a building with a lift, in central Trieste. The building's entrance hall has a marble dado and a terrazzo floor; the staircase is marble.
The hallway leads to the sitting room and the kitchen, which are linked by a wide opening. The kitchen, a single run of dark wood units, has an oven and a gas hob; beside it is the dining area, with a table, chairs and a ceiling fan. The hallway, sitting room, kitchen and double bedroom have herringbone parquet floors.
The double bedroom has an upholstered bed and wardrobes, one with a mirrored sliding door. The second bedroom has a bed, a desk, open shelving and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a window, a shower with mosaic-tiled walls and a rain shower head, a washbasin with a vanity unit, WC and bidet. A storage room serves as a utility room, with a washer-dryer and shelving.
The windows of the sitting room, kitchen and double bedroom look across the rooftops towards San Giusto hill, with the cathedral bell tower and the castle.
Energy class E. Available from 17 February 2027.
How we used AI in these photos
13 of 16 photos retouched with AI and marked on the photo: 11 edited and 2 simulations. The viewing remains the only reference.
How we edited them
A note on the use of artificial intelligence in the photographs. The photographs in this listing were taken with a phone in the flat on 17 June 2026; the view from the double bedroom window (photo 12) dates from October 2023. 13 of the 16 published photographs were edited with a generative image model (Google's Nano Banana family, used through the Higgsfield platform) for two purposes only: to remove the personal belongings and small clutter left in the rooms, and to make the pictures brighter. The following were removed: bottles, washing-up liquid and cleaning bottles, small containers, small plants, ornaments, a small basket and a tray, pictures and notes stuck on furniture and tiles, towels and bathrobes, a bath mat, toilet paper, a rucksack, a bag, a box behind the WC, a basket and a chopping board standing on the floor, and a loose cable. In the two photographs of the double bedroom the bare mattress, with a folded duvet on it, has been dressed with white bed linen and two pillows, and in one of them the bedside lamp appears switched on. All the furniture, the pictures (the Klimt print and the three-panel world map), the curtains, the lamps, the bedspread in the second bedroom, the utensils hanging in the kitchen, the small plant on the kitchen worktop in photos 2 and 6, where it is small and in the background, and, in the laundry room, the ironing board, the clothes airer and the cardboard box were deliberately left in place. Where an object was removed, the part of the wall, floor or furniture it was hiding was not photographed: the model reconstructed it plausibly; the same applies to the bed linen, to the reflection in the mirrored wardrobe and to the socket above the hob in photo 4, which the plant partly covered. In two photographs some details that the model had distorted were put back with the pixels of the original photograph: the socket and the gas valve on the kitchen tiles (photo 2) and the brand name and labels of the washer-dryer (photo 14). Nothing else was altered: dimensions, ceiling heights, openings, floors, windows and doors, services and finishes are as photographed, and no defect has been softened or hidden: the worn and stained parquet by the front door and in the kitchen and the flaking plaster on the light-well wall seen through the bathroom window have been left as they are. The view (photo 12) and the photographs of the entrance hall and staircase, where protective sheets are laid on the floor, did not go through artificial intelligence; in the other photographs the views through the windows were checked one by one and match those photographed. Light and colour were corrected as in ordinary photo editing. The original, unedited photographs are available on request; a viewing remains the only reliable reference for the actual condition of the property.
The video at the top of the listing. Video generated with AI (Kling model, via Higgsfield) from photographs in this property's gallery, with the AI edits described in their captions: the camera movements are synthetic, not real footage. The video has no sound. Some of those photos are simulations: the video also shows the elements AI added.
