Description
A first-floor flat in Via di Romagna, in a semi-central part of Trieste, with a cadastral floor area of 56 m². The walls are painted in large blocks of blue, taupe and red. The living area, hallway and bedroom have parquet floors, and ring-shaped pendant lights hang from the ceilings.
The front door opens straight into the open-plan living space, with a sitting area, the L-shaped kitchen and a high dining table. Next to the door is a wooden unit with a coat niche. The kitchen has wood-effect tall units, a built-in oven, a hob and lighting under the wall cupboards.
A hallway leads to the bedroom and the bathroom. The bedroom has a four-door built-in wardrobe and a window onto the inner courtyard. The bathroom, tiled in grey, has a glass shower enclosure with a sliding door, a wall-hung WC and vanity unit, a tall cabinet and a mirror with LED lighting. A storage room houses the washing machine and an electric water heater.
Energy class E. The flat is available from 25 May 2027.
How we used AI in these photos
11 of 12 photos retouched with AI: 6 edited, marked on the photo; 5 in light and colour only. The viewing remains the only reference.
How we edited them
The photographs in this listing were taken with a smartphone on 29/07/2025. 11 of the 12 published photographs have been edited with a generative image model (Google's Nano Banana family, used through the Higgsfield platform), for two purposes only: to correct light and colour, and to remove a few small everyday items that cluttered the shots; the twelfth, a photo of the bedroom, has only had a local light and colour correction, with no generative AI. Removed: a tissue box and a tray with the remote control from the TV unit, the photographer's reflection in the oven glass, a charging cable from the bedside table, two towels (one seen reflected in the mirror), the bottle of hand soap on the washbasin and a pedal bin in the bathroom; in the storage room, a vacuum-cleaner box, a ladder, folding chairs, a bag, a bucket with a mop, a broom, a dustpan, sponges, cloths, a duster and detergents. Deliberately left in place: all furniture and furnishings (sofa, high table and stools, bed, bedside tables and lamps, bench, pictures and the fabric wall hanging, the vases of roses, the leopard-shaped side table, the rug, the coffee machine), the sponge and dispenser by the kitchen sink, the toilet roll, the bottle on the shower shelf and, by the front door, the white multi-plug adapter and the black power adapter plugged into the sockets, with their cable. Where an object was removed, the part of the wall, floor or furniture it hid was not photographed: the model reconstructed it plausibly; in the storage room this also applies to the floor, the skirting and the top of the washing machine behind and under the objects, and in the bathroom to the stretch of towel rail, seen in the mirror, that the towel covered. The model recalculates the whole image: fine textures, such as the grain of the parquet and the pattern of the black and gold rug in two photos, are reconstructed rather than copied point by point. Where the model had redrawn or rewritten a real element, the original photograph has been put back in that area: the oven's brand name and control panel, the sockets with the adapters by the front door, the kitchen sink in one photo, the shower shelf, the toilet-roll holder in the two bathroom photos, the front of the washing machine, and the water heater with its brand name; in the storage room, a socket with a cable that the model had added above the washing machine was removed with a local, non-generative retouch. Nothing else has been changed: dimensions, ceiling heights, openings, floors, windows and doors, systems and finishes are as photographed; no obvious defects are visible in the photographs and nothing has been toned down or hidden. The yellow light of the bulbs has been neutralised: as a result the light cream walls look lighter and almost white, especially in the kitchen and in the bedroom photo with the window, where next to the window they have a slightly cool tone. The view from the bedroom window onto the inner courtyard is as photographed. Light and colour have been corrected as in ordinary photo retouching, and one photo has been straightened. The original, unedited photographs are available on request; a viewing remains the only reliable reference for the actual condition of the property.
The video at the top of the listing. Video generated with AI (Kling model, via Higgsfield) from photographs in this property's gallery, with the AI edits described in their captions: the camera movements are synthetic, not real footage. The video has no sound.
